I am still concerned he could develop an infection. I did my best to keep everything sterile, but his little bowel may have already been infected, too.

To quote Erin Bristow (Eric's wife), "It's the power of positive thinking"...

Hey Marcia, I just want to say, in something so traumatic, you found hope, and THAT is what makes YOU, such a GREAT breeder!!!

LOL... I usually curse when I get pooped on (some may remember a major poop incident at the San Jose Reptile Show last November). But this time, I cried for joy!

**UPDATE**

This little guy is still going strong! He has doubled in weight (from less than a gram to 2 grams!), and has gone through 2 sheds... neither of which he could do by himself. He is still not eating on his own, but will much on tiny mealworms if I hand-feed him. His super-glue incision has healed up normally with no complications, and his carrot-head coloring is starting to come in.

I'll post some pics soon...

Wow! That is amazing. Super glue has soooo many uses! lol

She/he should get a name to match their story. Im thinking miracle, chance or lucky!

Keep us updated!

I'm so glad you were able to save the baby. quick thinking with the super glue. that stuff can fix anything. My dad once had the tip of his thumb glued back on with super glue. can't even tell it was ever missing.
keeping my fingers crossed for him.
