Switching Foods?

i'm getting a Leo that is feed on crickets, which is perfectly fine. The only problem is that I hate crickets and 12 for a $1 is expensive at the pet store. It's not like i can order bulk of 500 and freeze them when I don't need them like mealies. So how can I switch of to mealies? Should I do it gradually do it or just put mealies in and use the attitude she'll eat when she hungry? I don't mind giving her the occasional cricket i just can't do it as the main diet

i'd see if she'll eat the mealies, then figure out if it will be a problem. kiki ate only crickets for the first few weeks that i had her, and i was worried she wouldn't eat the mealies. but when i put them in there, she had no problem with them. i know not all geckos are that flexible, but you just might get lucky!

I just hope shes not like my last gecko. Lol she was picky. I had her on crickets then she just got lazy and didn't want to hunt anymore then i got her mealies she loved them then go bored and wanted to hunt. She drove me up a wall!

She will eat when she is hungry. She knows survival is dependent upon it..
It's not like you are forcing spinach on her. It's meat to her also.
