Swithcing to roaches

Hey I'm new my name's Garrett.

Any way I have my leos on a diet mainly consisting of superworms and I wanted to switch to dubias after hearing so many good things about them.

Does anyone know a good dubia supplier for Colorado? I want to start up a small colony for my 7 leos.

How many do I need and how long approximately would it take to get a colony sustainable?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Colony size

To determine colony size you would need first you must determine how many feeder bugs you use in total. Then using a rough estimate of dubia females throwing out 20 babies per month each figure from there. YOu will never have exactly what you need. It will always be too much or not enough once you get your colony going. I can also tell you based on over five years now of selling roaches that not onee person has ever said they bought too many, yet most have bought more because they didnt start out with enough. You also have to take into account if you will be getting more geckos, thus requiring more feeders or if not then if your geckos are still growing they will need more food over time.

As far as location of sellers it really doesnt matter where they are but who they are. Sellers ship all over the country.
