YES. I JUST WANTED TO GET PEOPLES THOUGHTS ON THIS STUFF. ALSO I FOUND ONE OF MY BABY CRESTEDS NOT DOING WELL LAST NIGHT.HE WAS PRETTY MUCH DEAD IT SEAMED, SUNKEN EYES,SKINNY, SO I TOKK HIM OUTTA THE BABBY ENCLOSURE. AND BEGAIN A TREATMENT. I PUT SOME DROPS OF WATER ON HIS SNOUT. THEN I SPRAYED HIM WITH WATER ALL OVER.I FOUND THIS BIO-MIST THAT I HAD, AND READ THE DIRECTIONS, I FIGURED IT COULD NOT HURT,SCINCE IT CONTAINED ELECTROLYTES. SO I SPRAYED HIM DIRECTLY THEN SOAKED A NAPKIN,AND PUT HIM ON IT IN THIS BIG DEELI CUP. THEN I USED A NAPKIN 4 A LID AND SOAKED IT. POKED HOLES IN IT. AND SPRAYED IT WITH BIO-MIST. THIS LITTLE GUY WAS JUST NOT MOVING AT ALL. LAST NIGHT. THIS MOURNING HE IS NOT EXACTLY BOUNCING OFF WALLS, BUT HE IS LIVELY. SO ILL KEEP MISTING AND MONOTERING HIS CONDITION. I DONT THINK I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. I THINK IT IS GOOD TO HAVE AROUND THE HOUSE.I HAVE A GOOD FEELING THIS BABY WILL MAKE A RECOVERY. I HAVE DECIDED TO SEPERATE ALL 7 OF MY BABY'S, SO I CAN MONITOR EACH ONE. I HAVE BEEN BREEDING AND CARING FOR CRESTED 4 TWO YRS NOW. I HAD THIS SUNKEN EYE PROBLEM ONCE BEFORE ABOUT A YR AGO WITH A JUVIE THAT DIED AND I SOKED HIM AND WORKED WITH HIM TYING TO GET HIM TO DRINK BUT LOST HIM AFTER A LITTLE OVER 24HRS. AND HE LOOKED THE SAME AS THIS BABY DID LAST NIGHT.WHEN MY BABY MAKES A FULL RECOVERY I WILL PRAISE THIS STUFF.
So i did a search on the Bio-Mist stuff. Sounds totally unecessary to me. Ive got two cresties and as long as your tank is at the minimum 60%-80% humidity there should be no issues when it comes to normal shed. I mist 1-2 times a day, with distitlled water and occasionally a little spray on their heads so they get a little taste of the water. Do you think your problem is shedding? sounds like something more serious. What are you feeding it?
Your little one has sucken eyes and is skinny? dousing it in water, or soaking it in a napkin, might only further the stress of the gecko. I would highly recommend you take your little one into a vet who specializes in exotic animals before its too late.
Im not sure what part of the world you live in , but check with your local vet first, and they can usually recommend someone for you. Do it quick, by the sounds of it your little one wont be around for xmas if you dont do something about it. I hope he survives. Keep us posted. Maybe some pics too.
