Well this morning I woke up to find that on one of my geckos tail siting on the floor of its cage. We are not sure If one of the other geckos (we have 3 female all the same size) fought with her or what happen. Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen? We have never seen any aggression between any of them. Any help would be great.

One could have startled the other without any fighting going on, although you cannot always watch your geckos and there could be fighting that you are unaware of (of course, you can usually tell anyways because there will be nip marks on your geckos if they do fight).

I am terribly sorry to hear that this has happened (a tail loss for us is extremely horrifying just because we have had a very bad experience, but to most people, it's really not a big deal). The tail will grow back and the gecko will be just fine with time :) You can put some Neosporin or Bacitracin (I think I spelled that right?) on the area to make sure it doesn't get infected. Make sure the leo gets plenty of food and water because the tail is it's fatty/water storage unit and it will need extra during the healing process. I hope the best for you and your little one!

Separate it from the others. **DAILY* clean/treat it, clean water, fresh food, clean no print paper towels on flooring and moist hide and observe it often, do to stress created from the drop some
weak ones will die.
Pamper it to eat daily. A few wax worms along with meal worms could help.
Opinion is I would hold off any cricket feeding at least until it is back to full strength and tail is regenerating.......take care. HJ
