I guess 93,756 usable worms total, over a one year period from the original 500 beetles(not allowing for any beetles produced from the worms of the original beetles, plus allowing for dehydration loss of both original beetles and egg / meal worms produced.
Am I right? .........take care. Hj

Well, since each female beetle is capable of up to 500 eggs by many guesses. We'll say that 1/4 of those don't hatch for whatever reason, and she doesn't live up to her full potential, so on average 250 babies per female beetle.
You have 500 beetles, let's say about half are female. So... My guess will be about 60,000 babies, providing you have enough space and good environment for them to thrive.

Yes, 93,756 and that would be on the conservative side of a guess.
..........take care. And may the mealing force be with you. Hj

Here is my guess

500 beetles, we will say 50% are female that's 250 females
1 female can lay about 500 eggs, say 75% of them hatch

250*375=93750

I would estimate another 20% random loss so about 69750 worms.

now that i reread my question i dont even know really what i asked.

well the tricky part of the invisibles is getting thim into this one machine that heats them up for about 30 seconds to maybe around 100 degrees. they actually appear and start to slightly turn purple if they are a female, and if there a male nothing happens, that procedure is about 1,000 bucks.

I guess I have a male then. I put mine in the micro wave to try it. Nothing happened to see any "nogecko" female ....... but 20 seconds later all the lights went out in the house. ...........................
Note:
**cost of fuses $2.95.....
**Cost for Electrican $360.00 ....
**cost of the "nogecko" experience "priceless"

Well the electrician was here and I mentioned your machine. He said he had read of those add ons to a micro wave circuit and had the parts with him. Only $30 more for the parts, so I said, "hook er up Jack." It took him like 45 minutes and when we finally got the "nogecko" herded in and turned it on, I was all ready with the camera. I guess I got a female after all. ...So let me think on that male of yours and I'll get back.......take care. HJ.............

Well, when I left the room after taking the picture of the female...........that electrician tested the "NoMicro" machine(as he liked to call it) one more time. The circuit failed. It ran 3 Minutes instead of 3 seconds.......and now I really have NOGECKO.......all against the inside of the micro. Do you know any good recipes?........take care........HJ
