Taking away shed skin?

Is it dangerous for them to eat their shed skin?

I've been hearing about how some geckos have chocked on it and was wondering if taking the skin away would be an alternative.

Also it would make a good addition to a gecko scrap book!:main_thumbsup:

Some geckos have choked on it, but all in all it is safe and they all do it. I wouldn't worry about that happening. The chances must be so extremely small.

Its a good source of calcium,wont hurt them to eat it .

I've only heard that like once that they choked on it.. But most do eat it. I've never had a problem and never known someone who actually has.
