Tangerine and Mack Snow

I had an interesting talk with Thad Unkefer (I think he's one of the sponsors of this site. Ohio Gecko.) He informed me that breeding a Mack Snow with a Tangerine would result in some interesting and pretty babies in about...4 years? At least I think that's what he said, I could be wrong. But I would like other opinions on this combination. Would hatchlings of this pairing be healthy? The only thing I was warned against was never breed a Tremper, Rainwater, or Bell albino strain together. Or it would result in weak, undesirable hatchlings. Please give your thoughts on this matter.

The reason it can take up to 4 years to get a pretty combination between a Mack snow and a tangerine (usually called a "creamsicle") is because you need a number of generations of breeding the best colored geckos to each other to go from a dull yellowish to a high contrast orange and white. I'm not set up to do that kind of breeding, because I don't have the space to keep the requisite number of geckos (I could if I were willing to sell my other breeders and just concentrate on this, but I don't want to do that). A few years ago I bred my best tang (which wasn't that amazing by others' standards) to my Mack super snow and I got mostly yucky looking grayish yellow geckos. Last season I used a new hypo Mack snow male (from Thad) and got much prettier coloring. This season the male is breeding with a tang snow and a raptor, though the raptor doesn't seem to be producing fertile eggs yet.
