Tea Time!

So I drink A LOT of tea. I LOVE tea. And I put much of the used tea leaves in my compost (does wonders for the soil in the garden), but could mealies and supers eat used tea leaves? Or maybe not even used; could they eat the fresh stuff? I'm talking loose leaf here.

Actually, for the used tea leaves, there's very little if any caffeine left. Most of it seeps out within the first two minutes of the tea leaves becoming wet. I also drink a lot of green tea, which doesn't have caffeine in it anyway.
