Hey,
Um I was just wondering when I look at peoples setups they almost always have thermometers in them. I had a look online and found that a tempgun can be cheaper than most thermometers. So that is what im planning on getting unless someone else says otherwise.

Thanks,

An anolog thermometer is only like 10-20 bucks at pet stores. where do you find a temp gun for cheaper then that. Also you always get what you pay for so if you cheap out guess what its going to be made with cheap stuff.

I use Temp Guns aswell as Thermostats and Thermometers. In my opinion, its better to have multiple readings for example, I had an incubator set at 89F my Temp Gun read it 88, while my Thermometer read it at 86. Just a little food for thought.

at tempgun.com there is one for 25 bucks. i dont really like analog ones cuz they are not as relaiable as digital.

I know what you mean, Nigel4less ill probably get those yellow zoomed ones like a lot of people have along with a tempgun cuz you can use them for more than one cage/animal.

Yeah, like I said I will get one of those for all of my collection and just a cheap digital one to confirm.

I have never tried the temp guns, but they have been highly recommended by many people! And the digital thermometers can be cheap and accurate - just go to a hardware store.

Yeah, i dont know about that one but I do know that tempgun.com has some good ones.
But if it matches with your other thermometers, then I would say that its fine.
