temperature fluctuation.... -sigh-

somehow my incubator got turned up to 98 degrees and i just noticed today :/i think it happened last night but i'm not sure... i just need to know how detrimental this could be on the embryos and weather or not there is a possibility they could still be healthy.... thanks :/

98 is pretty high. The only thing to do is what we all do if there's an inadvertent tragedy like that: continue incubating and hope for the best. Good luck. If you're using an incubator that doesn't have a cooling function and the room isn't air conditioned, then the temp inside the incubator will be the same as the temp in the room.

i'll wait and see :/... it never gets above 80 in that room so i don't think that's the issue.

Hmm thats awfully warm for a long period of time.IMO not good

i've hatched three babies since the incident so i'm hoping the rest are alright, i only found one that looked bad, so it looks like they're alright after all :)

Good to hear but I don't think your out of the woods yet. I hope I'm wrong but if you just noticed the fluctuation a few days ago, I would be worrying about the younger embryos. The ones that hatched today where only a few days from hatching and therefore fully developed. The real test will be the ones that are still developing. Anyways, like I said before Congrats on the new babies and good luck with the remaining clutches.
