Temperature & Heating Q's

Hello! I'm a beginner, so sorry if these are very basic questions. I am trying to figure out how to heat my 10 gallon glass tank, for I'm worried that my warmside or coolside might be too cold. The temps in the house range from low 60's in winter to high 70's in summer. Would just a regular small (8"x6") ZooMed Repti-Therm Undertank Heater connected to a ZooMed Repti-Temp Rheostat do the job OK? I would get a digital thermometer w/ probe so I can make sure the heater is producing a constant 90 F.

That sounds good. If you can afford a thermostat rather than a rheostat you won't have to keep changing the setting every time the weather changes.

Make sure that the UTH says that it is for 10 gallon tanks.

Then you should be ok.:main_thumbsup:

ACPart has given you good advice too.:main_yes:
