Tempretures

Hi :)
I currently have 2 geckos housed in a 2.5 foot by 1 foot viv.
They have 5 hides, the hottest having a ground temp of 38 celcius, the coolest being at 23 celcius, and the others scattered around between these temps.
Air temp is 31 celcius on the hot side, and 24 celcius on the cooler side.
Are these tempretures okay?
They dont seem to go into the hottest hide very often, prefer to stay in the second hottest which is nearby.
One of them is also very fond of the moist hide, even though she isn't shedding.
Is this unhealthy for her?

Thanks,
Daniee

In my opinion, 38 is a bit high for the hot side. 34 is much better. The other temps don't make much difference to me. In my enclosures, I worry about the floor on the hot side and the others are what they are. Some geckos love the humid hide. It's fine if they want to spend all their time in it.

Agreed, they'll thermoregulate by moving from one area to another. For example, after a meal they'll move to a warm area to digest.
