Temps in Hovabator going down?

I have my Hovabator hooked up to the Proprtional Temperture Control System aka HELIX DBS 1000. I have it set at 88 degrees but it keeps going down a few degrees then works its way back up to 88. I havent touched it in a few days so it hasnt been opened at all or anything. I also have a HELIX DBS 1000 hooked up to my rack system and that never changes in a degree either way. Wondering if anyone has had this problem and what they did to fix it, or knows what causes it? Thanks.

this is a problem of the hovabator and you could try to keep a more constant air temps in the room.....
I added a pc type fan to circulate the air and the temps are really constant on that incubator now, but my other without still fluctuates.
I am just thinking of waiting this season out and getting myself a better incubator, instead of adding a fan to the other one.

A few I have are:

1.) Do you have a heat sink in the Hova? This would be something like a ZipLock bag with water, or drinking water bottles in the bottom to keep the temp more constant.

2.) Do you have it up off the floor?

3.) Do you have it against an outside wall?

It always pays to either buy or build a better incubator... For now, keep your incubator in an area of your home that maintains a consistant temperature..
