WOW! I have heard so many temps i am never sure what to shoot for. I like mid 80to high 80s for day and then 70s at night seems to be what my big girls where at when i received them. When it hits 90s i worry because i do get sun in the room and i know it elevates cage temp more. Seems like a lot of different temps come up. So i guess the question is what is the WHOLE range, like lets take some one with high temps, and some one with low temps and see how many people have healthy eating geckos at there temp! One of my tanks sits at like 83-84 and that's its high. Low is 70s. Its my 2 normal girl geckos and they eat fine. once every other day about 8 crickets each. Got a girl in a tank that reaches 88 high and low like 80-82. She is new and not eating yet. New male is in a tank that also hits around 83-84 high and night 74-76 not eating as well but brand new.

The hotter you keep them the more color you'll notice, and the better they will eat. You definitely need to get those temps at least into the low 90s. My geckos sit at 95*F, year round, and never stop eating...not even when winter hits and the days shorten. They are in premium health, and their colors are great.

83-84 isn't high at all. Most caresheets recommend ATLEAST 88, remember they're from the desert and it can get past 100 degrees over there. I used to keep my heater at 90F but now I bumped them up to 94 and I see she's more active then before and loving it, she's also eating me out of mealworms wanting to eat atleast 10 a night if I let her.. My room also gets a lot of natural sun light and my building seems to want to keep all the apts at 80F and I havn't had a problem you just need something to regulate and maintain your temps.
