So long and short is, New Gecko ive only had her now about 12 days all told, been leaving her alone to adjust to her new enviroment sounds and smells, wasnt planning on handling her for a few days, but last night she was up at the glass again, thought no doubt if I open the doors she will probably run to her hide.........Nope, she stayed so I decide to put my hand out flat infront of her, and OMG she walked on to my hand no coaxing required. I have only ever had big reptiles before and quite hardy ones at that, ones that you have to get your self in the tank to get them out and a bearded dragon who just looks at my hand and nothing else, so it was amazing to feel her walk on my hand and down my arm of her own accord, she is still not entirely sure about being picked up as when I went to picked her up she squirmed a little and subsequently fell to the floor dont worry it was only about 7 inches on to a soft rug, but she allowed me to pick her back up this time and I put her back in her viv. Thought 'yep well that didnt go too well, she wont wanna come out again now' To my amazement 10 mins later there she was at the doors again, so again I opened the doors she walked unfazed. So progress is being made and im so happy about it. Again I have never had a leopard gecko before so this is all brand new to me :D

Leopard geckos really do make great pets. There will always be a few that don't like to be handled, but most do very well with it.
