Yeah, let it go...

They are hard to feed and usually do not adjust well to captivity...

I would tend to agree with gregg, let it go, you never know the parasites it may carry, and it would be cruel to take it out of what its used too. By all means for recording purposes, take pictures and record it, you may find it again. But let it go.
