the affects of a lid

If you house a single leo in a tub and keep the lid on(with air holes of course) would it smell when he poos? One of my leos is in a tub and his tube always stunk when he pooed and I left the lid on. I thought he was sick but then I took the lid off and the tub doesn't smell. Does this happen to leos when the lids are left on?

Do you have holes in the lid?, I have had that happen a few times, just make sure you have enough air holes so the smell doesent get trapped. You may also need to simply change the cage more often.

Yeah I have keep to of my leos in tubs with lids on them but they have airholes. And one of them smells and the other does not. I guess there are stinky geckos and clean geckos
