I can't help on the leo/beardie debate but as far as the vet goes... you cal always call them, let them know you're getting a herp and wanted to know how much the office visit and fecal exam (since that's usually the most common proceedure for most leo owners) costs. That way you'd be able to set the proper amount aside just in case. Usually meds can add anywhere between $10-$40 to your visit pulu any testing they do.
