We're in Kansas for the first time this year. We moved here from Colorado (Denver/Boulder) and we're moving back as soon as we can this summer. I can't handle the humid air in the summer, and the dreary winter sucks.
Colorado gets a lot of snow volume-wise, but it always melts within days of falling - and it's right back up into (at least) the 40s. (Well, except this weird cold snap they've had off and on for the last couple months - we couldn't even fly out the weekend of Christmas). The thing I love about Colorado is the SUN. It's sunny 300+ days of the year. So even if there's snow on the ground, it's gorgeous and the sun feels great. I grew up in Michigan where it was cold, cloudy, and gross pretty much from November to April. Colorado is perfect for people who are negatively affected by winter.
I hope you get some inspiring, wonderful weather soon, Sandy. Hang in there! :daisy:
