There's a long story, but I'll give you the condensed version...

Some guy (hobbyist) hatched a white gecko (1995, but don't quote me) and sold it along with it's heavily spotted parents to these other guys (big breeder... been around since the dinos... ;))... These other guys had a hard time because the little white gecko wasn't healthy and she died... They produces a small handful from the parents, but were all female... These geckos were now to be known as Blizzards! I think some were bred back to dad and some to the other morph they were working with at the time (Patternless) because they were similar looking... Yadda yadda, M*** B***, the unforgetable artists rendering, win $10,000... They debuted on the January 2000 cover of Reptiles Magazine and were released not long after...

I forgot to mention that they thought it to be a true leucistic, but the name was already mistakingly used so they called them Blizzards...

Btw they are recessive just like albinos...

Thanks John-the first Blazing pic is a male and the second is a female

The female unfortunately was sent to me with a deformed front leg-long story
But she is doing great-just never be breed-able

Not that I do much reptile breeding anyway-lol
