The original Pokersnake (pics!)

He/she is a spotted python. Picked him up at the Wheaton reptile show, aka Scott Smith's all pet expo. In these pics, he *just* shed.

Without the flash, you can see his sheen. You get that in natural light and he has blue all over him.

The reason for his name. A perfect pixilated heart <3

And finally, his home. He's outgrown his coconut!

He really is gorgeous. And the species is exactly what I was looking for. I love the python look, but am not a fan of picky Balls. Also I don't want a snake that I'll have to feed anything larger than rats. Not to mention something that will get too heavy for me to handle like Burmese, bloods, retics, etc.

Spotteds stay 5ft or under. They stay skinnier than Balls. They have freaky cool eyes! And I can keep mine in the 20L for the rest of his life (assuming he doesn't become a giant from eating).
