Hi

We have spent most of the evening cleaning, disinfecting, weighing, watering and feeding (my wifes jobs), and, taking photographs (my job) of the hatchlings. I feel that this is fair allocation of duties, but I do feel that that my wife saves the best jobs for herself!!!!

Anyway, I thought I would post some of this years snow babies as I have a real soft spot for them.

First a SuperSnow Bell Albino

Next up is a Mack Snow Bell Albino

A Mack Snow Enigma het Bell that hatched over the weekend

Another MSE from early July with a radioactive tail (either that, or, it is the reflection from the flash!!!)

And finally a couple of updated photos of the SuperSnow Bell Enigma

Still Snowing

Hi

Thanks for the comments. All of the geckos except the last MSE are from the same pairing which is a SnowBell male to a Mack Snow Enigma het Bell female, so it was sort of inevitable that I should get some nice snows. The last MSE was from the same male to a Hypo Enigma het Bell female.

I did try and breed snows last season, here comes the story of woe!!!, but the SuperSnow female that I have took really big bites out of any male that went to near her. She laid something like 12 non-fertile eggs. I tried her again this season but she developed a problems and ended up at the vets. The vet opened her up and decided to fully spey her as her overies and developing eggs were badly infected. She is now enjoying life in the retired geckos home and is doing very well. Not the best start to breeding snows you might say!!!

Regards

Mark
