The worst neglected gecko case i've ever seen.

not to be insensitive or something, but it's kind of funny his name is "Gimpo". i don't know about putting him down... maybe if he seems like he's in pain or, as a previous poster said, has lost the will to live.

I really wish I could say what I am thinking, but I fear i will be banned...
If only the humane society cared...you know damn well if this was a mammal the previous owner would have been prosecuted... I have said for years, that people need a license to keep animals...I would have no problem taking an exam, and paying a modest fee to keep my animals, if it kept animals out of the hands of imbeciles...

If it was a horse on the picture, it would be on the Dutch national news... A well, I quite used to the fact that people feel more fore warmblooded animals and I don't care as long as there are still a few people who care about real nice animals!

How horrible. I hope this gecko can be rehabilitated, but it is suffering terribly. I would humanely euthanize this poor creature. I would also consider inhumanely euthanizing the person(s) that abused it.

As far as his mobility/functionality and such I don't know but he does look a lot better and actually has his eyes open now.

I cannot believe that. That is horrible. I feel so bad for that leo. I hope that he either pulls through or is put down after a hardy meal of something delicious like silkworms. So sad to see that happened to someones critter. It is a shame animal cruelty laws to not apply to something like this.
I am very disappointed in the person or persons who were taking care of this little guy. I'm glad someone else took him in!!
