Charlie ........ We had Thelma for about 5 months and after carful inspection decided she was a female. So we purchased another female ( Louise ) at the pet store to keep her company. Well they must have enjoyed each other company more that we realized because Louise layed an egg this morning. After another inspection we saw Thelma has develped the darker preanal pores. He must have been to young and/or we had to little experience to properly sex him. Now I dont have a clue what to do. I have 4 more females waiting to be shipped here this next week , a newly aquired pacman frog setting on my desk, and now a breeding pair with eggs ???????????

Separate them if you want to minimize the number of fertile clutches. Either find someone in your area that can incubate for you or start reading up on breeding. You could always just chuck the eggs, though it's a shame given the resources the female uses to lay them (that doesn't mean it's wrong; it's better to get rid of them in my opinion if you just can't manage the breeding situation than to possibly have deformed babies hatching because the incubation wasn't ideal).

If you do a search, you'll see that you aren't the only ones who have been "surprised".
