Then/now pictures!!

So a good number of us take in rescues and some are in pretty bad shape. While some of us have sad stories, a lot of us have successfully brought our leos back with love and care that only a true herp lover can provide. So let's see those amazing transformations!!

Here's Akira downing slurry (she wasn't eating for some reason) two days after she arrived on my doorstep, care of a girl I went to high school with. She really wasn't too bad, except for the stuck shed on her feet and her tail was a little thin:

And now, only a little over a month later, check out this chunker lol:

Hopefully in a month or two I'll be able to post a similar picture comparison for Zaira. Here's how she looks now:

Good luck Khrysty! I used to do the rescue thing, and took in every animal people brought my way, but it became much too heartbreaking for me. I'm so very glad you're taking the time to help these little ones. The first looks GREAT, you did a fantastic job! I can't wait to see updated pictures of the second one, as she gets the TLC she needs :main_yes:

wow that's amazing, congrats, and good luck with Zaira. so sad, she looks so skinny =( ugh it makes me so sad to see that, but she's in good hands now!! post pictures as soon as possible!! =)

Faraz before (tail angle makes it look fatter than it was. He had moderate MBD and heavy parasites)

Yasser was also a rescue, but pretty much looks the same, he was treated for mild MBD and parasites... he was eating all Faraz's food as well as his own so he was fatty
