Thermostat Question

I'm using the Zoo Med UTHs for two terariums, a 15 gal and 30 gal tall.
Is there a way to use one thermostat for the two tanks without switching to flex watt tape?
I'm looking at a Helix DBS 1000 to do the job, but if I am unable to run the two tanks on one thermostat, then I'd like to do something else. Any suggestions (all though I believe your answer will mostlikely be... flexwatt)?

I use the Alife 3-outlet thermostat with my UTH tanks. You can plug up to 3 UTH's into one thermostat. You just have to choose which tank to put the probe in. Some people have complained that the Alife tend to malfunction, but I haven't had any problems in the last 3 years and am currently using 5 of them. They cost about $30 each.

Aliza, although the price certainly sounds right, the only problem with using only one probe is that if either of the other two UTH's malfunction and overheat, they won't get turned off.

that could be a problem with just one thermostat and several heatmats.i using 1 thermostat to five terrariums, but i use 1 heatcable instead off several heatmats.

Marcia, that's a good point about heat mats breaking and overheating. I'm using zoomed UTH's for some tanks and heat cable for others. Even without a thermostat, the bottom of the cage (under the hides) didn't get above about 110 on an average day. Obviously that's no good for leos, but I check my temps regularly and I figure that if something breaks, the leos will probably go over to the other side of the tank for the short time it will take before I get to it to take care of it. How do you regulate your temps? I was considering switching to flexwatt but I feel safer with the enclosed elements I'm using now and I figured out a better way to attach the heat cable for more efficient heating.
