Hi Guys,
I'm just starting out breading leopard geckos. could somebody give me the name of a inexpensive thermostat and where in Ireland i might get one?

or does anybody have one for sale?

I have no clue where to get one in Ireland but you could get one online. I used to use a ZooMed 500R which yielded a 37.5% hatch rate. It's not that good but it's cheap.

There are a lot of variables that cause low hatch rates along with the incorrect incubation set-ups. There are many things that you can go the cheap route and have no problems but a thermostat is something that I would get the best that I can afford or find. As to where to find one, I would try to find some one in your area that could give you some advice on the best brand for the money.

One thing you shouldnt be cheap on is a thermostat. Save up and buy a good one.

I didn't mean to say it was cheap in the bad way, just inexpensive. But yes, I would get a nice incubator or thermostat.

I would suggest getting in touch with a heating and cooling company that works on walk in freezers they will know where to get one and most of the time they are cheaper than others
