What do others think about the carrot tail thing?! their tails have some orange on them, and it's gotten more prominate as they've aged, but as far as I know they're just plain ol' tangerines, except Smiley who is het sunglow.

From what i know the minimum to be called a carrot tail is 15%-20%! The first one is getting there and could almost be but the second one i don't think is a CT. They still have some growing to do so you never know! The wouldn't be afraid to call them both a SHT and the first almost a SHTCT. Thats just my opinion!

the reason i thought they were carrot tails was becsuse when i got mine she had an orange band round her tail and now with every shed its gradully gotten more and more orange!
carrot tails are gorgeous, just like any other morph!

Well unless a tail is going to be a high quality CT then most usually just have a small orange band along the base of the tail. High qualities ones will have more orange. The orange will fill in after each shed.

thats whats happened with mine...her tail has become more and more orange everytime she has shed!
