Things to go in humid hides?

My leopard gecko has an eye infection, and I think some of the peat moss-stuff (it's not exactly moss) might have gotten under her eye lid. I was wondering if I could use paper towels or wash cloths as the substrate for the humid hide.

Paper towels work great.. Just get a few of them so its kind of thick so that you dont have to wet it as much.. i use paper towels in the moist hides for my hatchlings..

Okay. Thanks so much. I've been looking up leopard gecko things for about an hour. Some bad stuff's been happening with her eye.

use eye drops that you can get at walmart, and keep her eye moist. paper towels are great when geckos are having problems, it doesnt break apart so you wont have any problems with a worse eye infection coming up. good luck with your leo.
