I would suggest that you buy from s supplier close to you. It's that hot here so when we get our orders from Sunshine the cold packs feel like warm packs but somehow everything is still alive.

I just meant order from a supplier in a nearby state. There are quite a few suppliers on the west coast that you should be able to order from and not have DOAs.

I just ordered some from Flukers, and told them to have it held at a FedEx location. I provided the address of the FedEx that I wanted to use. Worked great. No DOAs.

I always do that for any live critters.

If you have something really sensitive coming in. The following location is the first stop from the airport. This is where they sort the packages to go out to the rest of the valley. Pick up there = least amount of time on a truck.

I placed another order with a company out of Cali. All was well again. Held at a FedEx close to my house.

Everyone was eager to know why I needed so many crickets. They were chirping up a storm and driving a few workers a bit batty. :)
