This Makes Me Worry...

Leos aren't meant to eat hoppers...I was surprised that one gulped one down and didn't get halfway killed in the process and I was looking to see if the owner posted an update saying any problems. I wonder how the leos are doing today...Bones are undigestible and so is fur for them. It is reckless feeding...and care. (And I felt sorry for the mouse for the first time)

The leos look healthy on the outside, but what about the inside. Their size may be all fat and no nutrition...they may also have FLD (Fatty Liver disease)

I think not only is that cruelty to the lizard in a way but also to the mouse. It took that mouse what like 3-4 minutes to die. That food item was way to big for that gecko and you could obviously tell that gecko was bit multiple times.

sigh

utube is a vehicle for idiots

I have seen more sad and ridiculous videos(from links posted on lizard forums pointing them out) since the existence of a cyber place where any idiot can set the stage and film something and say"look what I did!"

This leaves a really bad taste in my mouth........:main_thumbsdown:

no pun intended

I forgot to mention that I stopped the video as soon as I saw the size of the mouse
I am not real familiar with the size of hoppers since I do not deal with mice as feeders
I just could not/would not watch it

I forgot to mention that I did not watch the video

I stopped it as soon as I saw the size of the mouse

I am not familiar with the different names of sizes of mice since I do not deal with mice as feeders

Please don't get me wrong-I have nothing against people that feed f/t
rodents to reptiles that need them in their diet

Sandy

PS- can someone please delete the above post
When I went to edit it-
I got an eror message(for too short of a message) when I hit send the first time and I cancelled it but it seems to have posted despite that
