Thorny toad licking some ants

Okay I feed my thorny toad ants today which I collected at my grandpas garden while working in it and this is what I was able to shoot. Saldy Only 1 real licking picture and no ant on the toungh on the picture

Just came in my reptiles room cause I found I hadn´t taken pictures of 4 cb yet and wanted to make sure I have pics so I wanted to take pics of them.
I found my toad burried in the sand and took pics I need to get more sand for her to burry cause they love to do it

I still think that is a cool looking lizzard!!! How many ants can he eat at a time? Are they the lizzards that can shoot blood from their eyes or is that something else?

These are becoming harder to find where I live because their food source, harvester ants, are becoming scarce do to the introduction of the Argentine black ant. They end up killing all the native ant species and thorny toads wont eat them.

Yeah, all the fire ants here ran all the thorny's off, poo on fire ants, they are from hell. Cool pics btw.
