Any crested owners out there use a fogger? If so, what are your thoughts and reviews on them. Ive seen some that look really cool but have hear some people saying that they need to be in a big tank so that they dont fill up the entire tank too quickly which can harm the gecko.
(Id be using an ET 18x18x24.)

I don't think a fogger is necessary with cresteds. I find that a simple misting once or twice a day suffices to keep humidity levels optimal.

Waterfalls I do not recommend. They are difficult to keep clean as cresties poop wherever they feel like it, and the entire thing would need to be taken apart and cleaned on a regular basis.

But say Im 'one of those' people who like a bit of effect and eye candy. Could it be used with out harming the gecko if only used for a limit time every say 8 hours or something?

I would set it on a timer and set it to turn of for 5-10 min intervals say, 6-7 times a day. You don't want the cage to be saturated, and you want to allow time for it to dry out completely between cycles. If it's constantly wet in there it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. You'd have to experiment a bit to see how much is too much depending on the humidity in your area.

No waterfalls. foggers are fine(a long as you have a timer). Most of my cresteds are sprayed down 1 to 2 times a day one of my cresteds is on the same wall as my day geckos and they are set up with a fogger system that goes off 2 to 3 times a day for 30 min at a time. Her cage I don't spray down as often because she gets humidity and water droplets accumulate for her to drink.
