Tile and heating

Hi, i am building a habitat for my leopard gecko and am putting in tile as substrate. I was wondering what kind of heating would be best for this. Thank you

Under tank heaters are probably best for leopard geckos and the tile will hold that heat very well. Although I use thermostats for my heaters, I'm beginning to think with tile that it may be thick enough not to require them in the winter.
