Tile for digging gecko?

I finally got the papertowel replaced with tile and Rosie is frantically trying to dig her way to escape. She was a digger in the sand, with the paper towel she would still dig (but it was more of a bunching of paper or her calcium dish emptied onto the walls :main_laugh:) but now there is tile and she is not showing inclination to spread her calcium. how do others with tile contend with this?

I think with time she will just stop trying to dig. I can't really recommend anything else since I have never witnessed any of my previous geckos digging. They were all on slate tile.

You could always add a container of coco fiber. I was faced with this dilemma for my SW banded gecko colony. I've heard from other keepers that they like burrow but I'm not comfortable with a sand enclosure and it's difficult in a front-opening tank anyway. I've settled for tile with several containers with coco fiber. They seem to hang out all over the tank.
