Tile Second Level

I'm going to take a tile and pvc pipe and create a second level on the cool side of the tank. Should I use silicon to glue the pipe to create the legs?

Also, would you suggest a pipe to get him up there?

I don't glue the pipe so I can take it apart if I want. The tile is very stable. If you use 2 tiles, separated by small blocks at each corner, you can put a mini UTH in between and have a heated upstairs. I have one cage with a branch for them to climb up on, but the rest of them stand on the lay boxes and can easily climb up.
