Guess I'm joining the tiny baby club this year.
Robin this is the clutchmate of that egg that pipped and never hatched. Anyhow, this girl hatched after 56 days and is so small. Her egg still had something attached to it, so I don't know if it was the yolk she didn't absorb or there was another leo growing in there with her. It's all pinkish like a huge mass of cells. It was a giant egg too-we kept thinking it was going to burst.
Anyhow, she doesn't know what pattern she wants to be either. It would have been cool if she hatched almost solid lavendar.
I'm just hoping she makes it-she has hardly no fat on her at all

I hope she will do well for you! Yesterday we had a SHTCT come blowing out of the egg at day 46 with what appeared to be a spoiled marble size mass of yolk...sadly it died very shortly after. It's clutchmate hatched at day 45 and is a screaming demon.....crazy! Let us know how this one does for you.

the mass you are talking about is her yolk sack. just give her some extra TLC. keep her warm and well misted and once she sheds offer her some food keep us updated. i am sure she will do well for you. she may be small but she looks nice and fat otherwise
