My boyfriend is looking into purchasing a leopard gecko from a local breeder. There are three that he is torn between however, and I am curious to see what your opinions are :)

They all look great, so definitely number one since it is a definite het for aptor and possible het for raptor :)

Although I really like number 3 :main_yes:

Since #1 is possibly het for aptor and is het for raptor, and not the others, choose that one.

Thank you everyone!

The only reason I was a bit hesitant about #1 is because she seems much smaller than the other two, although there are about 20 days difference between their hatchings so I suppose that could be a part of it lol.

I love #3's pattern, she's such a doll, but we do hope to breed them eventually so #1 is the logical choice.

If it were up to me, he'd buy all of them! :main_laugh:

I would buy all three too. Leos are so hard to choose. You see them and want them all, and can't imagine them with another owner. Then if you don't buy them, especially one you wanted, you would think about it for a few days.

Well, just when I thought we had decided on which one to get... the breeder offered us yet another beautiful gecko to choose from

I would pick #4. But when I pick leopards for breeding I look at the patterns. I look at what I have then look at what is available and then pick. Do you have a male already because those are all females.

Yes, I do have a male. He's nothing overly special, so I'm not expecting any amazing offspring from him. He is a barred hi-yellow. I can already feel the beginning of an addiction, so I'm sure I'll end up with another male in the near future. :main_laugh:

Thanks everyone! He did decide to go with the jungle (#4), they're just working out some details on warranty and payment and then she's coming home! I'm excited haha:D

I love stripes (all 3 of mine are some sort of stripe) so I'd say go with the Jungle. She's a real beauty.
