Easy... I don't have time for anything else. :main_laugh:How do you have time for all of those? Goodness
So glad to hear!Your set up looks awesome, I wish I had that much space! Although I may be biased because I got my favorite gecko from progecko a few years ago
I've been very slow in this department. I need to get pics of a lot of geckos. That looks really great man! All you need to show us now are some pictures of the geckos who live there!
A table or radial saw would have made it so much easier. Unfortunately, we didn't have one so a skill saw was the tool of choice. It was much slower but it all came out the same.somebody knows how to use a table saw. Looks great !
Thanks Yori! I started making videos and have plans on making many more. I just have to find the time to finish them.maybe you can make some movies on youtube haha
i like to see your best geckos on movie or picture
and again:
verry nice room you have
Thanks Joey!Nice set Up!!
Yes, it's made of 3/4" melamine. I've found melamine to be a good insulator especially when a good thermostat is used. My run on herpstats and stay at the set temperature. As with any incubator if the room is hotter than the desired temp in the incubator it will most likely rise unless the room is cooled. The additional plywood and foam is probably not necessary but can never hurt. The only insulation added to mine is a 2" piece covering the entire bottom to insulate from the cold floor. All the racks have this as well.Is that incubator out of melamine? I am thinking of making one with melamine and then having a layer of foam and plywood over it for insulation. How steady are the temps in there? Thanks.
Thanks Kristi!Great job Cody!!!
Brent,Cody,
Could you post some plans on how you built your incubator? I would love to see how you did it. Thanks
Brent
We used a sheet of aluminum that had a thickness of 0.0500. I wanted to use something hard enough that wouldn't compress but create a consistent tolerance.Cody, what did you use as spacers to make the tubs slide smoothly?

Haha... yeah it is. My dad actually had this piece laying around from our racing days so it was just cut to size and worked great. If you have a scrap metal or salvage yard near you they should be able to get you some. I know a lot of people use copy paper or cardboard which also works.that is a very precise measurement lol. did you purchase the aluminum anywhere in particular?
What do you want a picture of?Could You make a picture of Your Setup Like in to the curver hah
