I just went to see this movie saturday, and I have to say that honestly... It was freaking AMAZING!!! Two thumbs way up :main_thumbsup: :main_thumbsup: !!! The CG was perfect, the acting was good and the action sequences were awesome too. I highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone, dork and non-dork alike.

that was without a doubt my favorite toy and/or action show when i was a kid. right next to the power rangers.

I don't think they did, if so I didn't catch it but dude, even without the theme song its still AWESOME!!!

And how awesome is it that Peter Cullen is playing Optimus, I mean come on he was the origional too!!!

My opinion might change, but I was into the transformers too as a kid, but not sure I would get into the movie now, but I am not saying I wont give it a shot.

I guess it depends on the kid, but yea...I could see a kid liking it. It's mostly just violence. A little adult humor, but nothing bad or obvious. I don't remember much cussing.

That Movie ROCKED!!!! The only thing I would change is how close they were to the robots during the fight scenes. It would have been a lot better if the zoomed out a little during those scenes.

I'll admit I was very dubious about the movie before seeing it (Spiderman 3 still burning my mind)... but Transformers was AMAZING! I'm trying to convince people to give it a chance as there have been tons of malicious rumors out there (likely due to everyone assuming that we should just give up on expecting decent remakes of 80s/90s cartoons... *sigh*) I loved it. Everything was spot on. The end hinted at a sequel, maybe they will do one. I would go to see it in a heartbeat if they do.

We enjoyed the movie a lot. I agree that the "fight scenes" would have been better if the point-of-view wasn't so close. Other than that, it was great.. of course it would have been even better if they threw in one "Transformers! Robots in disguise!"

IMDB has a sequel set for 2009, so pretty much it's been announced, but details are very very very loose at the moment. I almost want to say several of the actors have signed on for a trilogy, but I'm not altogether sure.

But yes, THAT MOVIE KICKED BUTT! I've seen it twice allready and want to go again... I personally think it had some of the best action sequences I've seen in a movie to date, which is why I loved it so much. It was just loads of fun, like going on a rollercoaster ride.

Anyone catch that new monster movie trailer in the beginning, filmed with the hand-held cameras in new york? Now that caught my eye, looking forward to following that movies development.

I agree with you, they're gonna ruin it with a sequel. Just like they did with fast and the furious, aswell as spiderman.
