im not really a novice with the morphs, but ive had a hard time coming across a really "flat rate" price on the morph.
im seeing anywhere from $30-$90. thats a WILDLY vauge ballpark and i was wonderin if anyone knew a really solid answer to how id price Tremper babies

also.
ive had people tell me she ISNT a tremper. can SOMEONE tell me without a shadow of a doubt if im right?

I haven't even starting breeding (or ordered my breeders yet), but here are my opinions/understanding:

1) She looks albino but there is no sure way to identify 1 albino strain from another (??)
2) I think the only possible way to prove the Tremper strain is to breed her with a known Tremper, and see if you get albino babies.
3) The price of a gecko, in general, is valued by the buyer based on a few factors. Supply vs. Demand, but at a certain price point, the gecko-for-sale has to be worth it:

-Is it from a known "good facility"?
-Is it from a known "disease/parasite free facility"?
-Are its genetics known & proven?
-Is it at a "useful" age to the buyer? (as a potential breeder, I would pay more for one that some has raised to maturity already)
-Has it proven its ability to mate or to lay fertile eggs?
-Does it have KNOWN hets?

To me and me alone, I don't want to invest heavily into a Morph that isn't in high demand and also doesn't have alot of KNOWN "hets"? I'd pay $50-75 (shipped) for a healthy gecko from a trusted breeder for a gecko I did not have high breeding-expectations for....i.e. a "pet" gecko or small project which would produce alot of "possible hets" and very few hatchlings with visibly-confirmable traits.

To others, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Some people may just love albinos, and they would be willing to pay $100 (shipped) for an albino from a trusted breeder......then any KNOWN hets or Hom-traits would be "added-value" to it.

So ultimately, it is up the the buyer, what they value, and how much value they assign to what they value. But alot of it is: Known history, known background, & trusted breeder.

She looks like a Tremper to me but that's no guarantee. I price my Trempers as low as $25/30 for plain banded ones up to $60-75 for Aptors with orange outlining.

Supply and demand. The more rare/unique/popular it is, the more money a buyer is willing to spend on it. And the breeder sets the price as they see fit. "Heavy breeders" may have lower prices because they "mass produce" to make a profit or atleast break even. "Small operation breeders are likely to specialize in certain morphs, and will likely ask for the "market value."
