Tremper Eyes -- Nice Pics!

So this is the little male that hatched out that had incredibly unusual eyes. He's a slow grower [I think due to the fact that his eyes are so funky], but is up to size where I can give you all pictures.. let me know what you think!

We have had others from this pairing hatch out with white/pink eyes that have developed in to "normal" colored eyes, but with the same veins... hopefully we can figure out what this is...

On both eyes, the pupils stop at the vein and do not continue..

Wow that's very cool, but I sure hope it isn't the eyes that make it a slow grower. It would be a shame to have a gecko with very cool eyes that hurt him to look out of(or whatever). I hope you figure it out and it isn't bad vision stunting his growth.

Cool Josh! I remember seeing that one in person when it was much younger...the eyes definitely look different. So the red vein goes over the pupil on both eyes?

Yeah. Right where the red vein archs over the pupil, is where the pupil stops.

If they're normal eyes... I must have the most freakish collection of trempers as this is the only one I've hatched out that its pupils only extend half-way up its iris... :main_thumbsup:

I'm betting it has a full pupil, just the eye is pointed down. Constantly looking at your feet would make it hard to eat!
