Tremper method :(

Well, I should have listened to those who said not to incubate females the way Ron suggests. I've heard that you get premature or deformed babies... but had to try anyway.

So I tried incubating Tremper albinos at 82 degrees for 2.5-3 weeks and then moved into a 88-89 degree incubator. I would say at least half the eggs incubated this way have hatched prematurely and I've lost four babies so far. This really bummed me out as they were some rock-n leos.

I've decided from here on, I'm going to incubate like KelliH does. I will put them in an incubator set at 86 degrees and take the higher chance of getting males.

iv no idea what mine will hatch to be as teh temps have fluctuated so much, from down to 77 (while i went home for mothers day, flat got cold...damn my flatmate!) right up to 86, im not sure about these hovabators, seem very hard to keep at one set temp

Someone on here suggested that you put a bottle of water in the incubator to help stabalize the temps. Im using a hubavator and gave it a try believe it or not, without the bottle of water it was ranging from 81-84 degrees. WITH the bottle of water it now stays at 81.4 - 82.3, not even a full degree of change. Ill use that from now on for sure.
