Alrighty, so I have a Tremper Albino het for hypo, I was wondering if I bred it with a Tangerine also het for hypo what I'd get in the end. I did a punnets square and I just wanted to check myself. I got 25% Tangerine Tremper Albino, 50% Hypo Tangerine Tremper Albino, and 25% Super Hypo(?).

The best I can make out: You have a tremper albino (hypo?) and hypo tangerine?

You would get all normals het for tremper albino with varying degrees of spotting and tangerine.

Ah. Okay. Thanks. Guess the breeder I got him from doesn't know his stuff that well. I appreciate it. What would be a better morph to go with my temper albino then? I know how to tell if its hypo but with trempers, isn't there already less black?

Hypo is defined as less spotting (and less black, but that is irrelevant with albinos). Hypo tremper albinos are usually also tangerine and called Hybinos. I don't think I've ever seen a hypo tremper that wasn't a hybino, so I don't know if they exist.

It sounds like you may have gotten your geckos from a less than reliable source. I would really recommend getting different stock from a reliable breeder if you want to breed. I think it's likely that your gecko is probably tremper since it's the most common strain, but I would be pretty skeptical about breeding animals that came from someone who told you they were het for hypo.

If I can't sway you, though, then I would pair the tremper with something else that involves tremper (snow tremper, RAPTOr, another tremper, sunglow, etc) and comes from a reputable breeder.

I personally would say breed it with another tremper I love the pure tremper albinos

I'd have to agree with what Neon said.. Getting a new stock from a more reliable source would be best since if this other person thinks animals can be het for hypo, who knows what else they might be wrong on.
