Just got home from a 12 hour shift at work and found these two!!! Parents are eclipse het bell and Mack snow bell enigma. So im thinking the babies are enigma het radar and snow bell het eclipse? Or is it just a bell het eclipse?

the baby on the left looks like an enigma 66% het radar. the one on the right doesn't look like a snow to me, but would be a bell het eclipse. nice looking babies!

why a 66% het Shawn? one of the parents was an albino so it will definitely be carrying the gene....

guess i'm wrong on that, but i thought radars were like raptors, where they had to carry the eclipse, albino, and patternless stripe genes. i was thinking enigma het bell het eclipse, which made me think 66% het. this is why i love this place. you can research and talk to other breeders, but you always learn something new. :main_thumbsup:

a raptor does not have to carry the "patternless stripe" gene. there can be banded raptors, jungle raptors, stripe raptors, reversed stripe raptors etc. the ingredients to a raptor, radar or typhoon is the eclipse gene and the albino gene (patternless stripes are a plus though and make the "P" in raptor)

a banded eclipse tremper would be called to some people a banded raptor and so fourth and so on.
