I'm new to leopard geckos and I couldn't find anything on this but how would you get tremper albino genes out of an eclipse in order to make typhoons? Would you just breed any eclipse to a las vegas albino and then breed the babies back together, but then the babies would be 100% het las vegas and 50% tremper. its confusing to me.

Well about 3-4 years ago you would of had to have done that and bred the Tremper out of the Eclipse. Luckily we don't have to do that now. You can buy a double het Typhoon for close between 100-200. Heck I know where you can get a Male Eclipse 66% het rainwater for a killer price below the price tag i mentioned.

you can also buy pure eclipse's nowadays. but think they can be expensive.

I agree with Ryan. It is not very practical to start from scratch on that project. You can find eclipe het typhoon, rw/fw het typhoon or double het typhoons for affordable prices. I know I will be producing some fw typhoons and fw het typhoons this year, and im not the only one who will have them either.

Thanks for the information guys. I think the typhoons look AMAZING. I'll have to look into getting some hets maybe in the spring when I get some more room.
