uh oh... egg laid and incubator ordered but not arrived....

Help needed! I had made plans to get a incubator but somehow my female laid a bit earlier than I expected...:main_rolleyes: While Im waiting for my incubator to come in 3 days, what should I do? just keep it with the female?

You need to find a place where the egg can be at a constant temperature in the 80-88 degree range. One thing you can try for now is to put the egg in a closed container in moist perlite or coco fiber and place it over the hot side of your tank, preferably with some way to check the temperature. If you know anyone who breeds, maybe you could "borrow" space in their incubator. Good luck.
