All I do is put the gecko (also works on snakes) underneath a 4" PVC vent cap for a minute or so while I make sure the camera is ready. Then, I lift off the vent cap, and the gecko just sits there. I don't know why, but even the extra-squirrelly ones will usually hold still for at least 5-6 pictures. I also have a 6" model (used for larger geckos/snakes) that will be making it's debut this fall. :main_laugh:
