I love all the little fatties. I have a female that has taken this storage thing to a new level.

She's even got them on her hips. *rolls eyes* I had only noticed the ones under her front legs and her neck till I started taking pics for this thread and noticed them on her hips (Love Handles...LOL)

Well, knowing Jeanne, that gecko is on her special brand of Leo Steroids and that could just be a bit of water retention kicking in from the roids....lol.

All joking aside, I imagine if she lays 6-8 fertile eggs this year, those bulges will probably get smaller or go away.

Alright now I'm worried. I have a 3 year old male that has one developing under his right armpit and it appears there is another one developing on his other pit. He also has some loose skin around his neck although this could be from age. He acts normal, and seems happy. But abnormalities are not good in my mind.

These just popped up today.

Has anyone gotten an answer about this?

Does anyone think it might be Neoplasia? I'm not so sure because that would indicate an abnormal growth of cells and these don't seem like growths or cysts. They are airy sacks. Almost like blisters without fluid insides. Very odd and I think were going to contact the vet tomorrow to be safe.

This is what Marcia's Vet says about these pockets:

These are endolymphantic calcium stores, common in female. and sometime male geckos. Nothing to worry about.
You will see them even with calcium supplementation. Even if you see them, you still need to keep up supplementation.
